Kindle chapter browser skips h1

Hi,

My project is organized by simple h1 and h2 headings. Calibre is generating the TOC with no problems. However, when reading and I press the left or right buttons to proceed to the next or previous mark, it skips any h1 headings and goes to the next h2.

Any ideas what might be going on here?

The Kindle's chapter to chapter navigation takes it from lowest level entry to lowest level entry in the TOC for books.

That's strange behavior by the Kindle. Is there no workaround?

It's on my TODO list to add an option to the mobi output settings in calibre to allow you to tell calibre to flatten the index to fool the Kindle.
