Why is Adobe Digital Editions monitoring Calibre database?

In the Kobo forum I have expanded on a thread regarding Adobe Digital Editions monitoring users' Calibre databases: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=145284

Perhaps Calibre developers know this but I think it may surprise ordinary ereader users to know that a limited-purpose program, ADE, is taking a look--or more--at what you are reading.

Please go away. We don't want your paranoid delusional rants and raves.

I agree with JSWolf. I read your other threads and you have presented only wild ill-informed speculation but absolutely no compelling evidence of any kind. Just because you didn't get the conspiratorial empathy you were seeking in the previous multiple threads you started on this topic doesn't mean you should come to this forum to seek the empathy.

You might be served better going to a ADE forum and asking them why you are seeing what you're seeing.

Exactly what does this have to do with Calibre, other than *another* program is walking through Calibre's libraries? (and yes, I did read his rants over on the Kobo forum and they make as much sense there).
