Adding a microcard to a NookColor

I have added a microcard but I am unsure what orientation it ahould be and what indication is there that the NC regognizes it.

If you fully inserted it, then you have it correct. It will only go in one way.

Go to settings, and look at device info. It will show there whether it found a card.

I just did this last night. With the NC face down, you insert the card with the logo face up. Remember that there's a "spring" catch for the SD card to help pop it out to remove it, so you have to push in past that. The screen will display an SD icon for a few seconds when you first insert it, and icon will appear on the left of the bottom menu bar. You may need to format the card. The instructions can also be found on page 85 of the Nook Color Guide.
