HI from the Big Easy

I found calibre after I got my wife a Kindle. Later, she surprised me with a gift card for partial payment of an iPad 2. Now that we spent lots of $$$, I don't want to spend a fortune on ebooks and Calibre has already taught me much. Great little tool and the price isn't bad either.

Yes, it was!

We had to get married at 9am in the morning, because the judge wanted to get out of town before the parades started. We were completely plastered by midday (too many Hurricanes), and had a big falling out be early evening and split up with our own groups of friends and spent the evening apart. Yes, people have done strange things in N.O. and though we do some very odd stuff ourselves, it's often the visitors who go 'outside the box' when they are here. Our city just does strange things to folks. Look what it's done to us.

Briefly, I've not read much the last number of years being so busy with work and music but, I've found I've missed it and now with the iPad, I don't want to not use it since it was an expensive gift. It is relaxing to read and I like fiction and scifi/fantasy so I can get away from the real world problems.
