What is wrong with my edge's battery?

Hi, I dont know why my edge's battery still tells me 7% charge even though It has been on AC for like 3 hrs already.. anyone with the same problem? come on.. I just got my edge like a month ago..

Oh, another problem, while I was editing a word doc using DoToGo, the application kept restarting and asking me to save change.. what is happening here?

Are you sure your device is actually charching? I ask this because sometimes the adapter is not well connected. Is the green light on your ac-adapter on? Is the green light in the on/off button of the eDGe blinking? If not: check your connections. You can also pop out your battery and put it in again. Sometimes the battery does not connect very well. If this does not help you, I am sure Boris will come to the rescue.

sjarrel made the same suggestions I would have If these don't help, contact Tech Support as it could be the battery is faulty (Tech Support is very good at helping customers with any problems).

For the DocToGo problem, it may be because of the lower battery charge, especially if the AC adapter isn't properly providing power, causing the eDGe to think it's about to run out of battery and prompting you to prepare to shut down.

Hi, Thank you both for the suggestions... I unplugged the AC adapter n left it as it was overnight to make the battery out of power, and just now i plug it back in.. the battery status seems working now. I will report the result to you later in the day.

Hi, I think my battery is dying; it doesnt charge at all, I have pulled out the battery set and plugged it back in as instructed to make sure it is firmly in place but the battery status still says 6%. Once I pulled the AC plug out, it alerts me to the fact that the battery is less than 15%. What should I do now???
