Inquiry: Desemination of 'Free' apk's to non-phone owners.
Is it legal to make a 'Free' version of an apk, which is available only on 'the market', downloaded to a phone, available to non-phone owners, via email or any other method???
It has been discussed in other places, but this is a continuing (Changing?) concern and a specific thread may be appropriate. If it is legal, or at least not 'non-legal' ..... .... Is it possible to set up a general 'forum' user depository, (no involvement/responsibilty of EE), , method unknown by me, of requested .apk not yet reviewed/approved/recommended by EE? .... Yes I know it can be done by email, but I agree with others that posting email addresses to a public forum is riskey. Of coarse, the subject may become uneccessary after Froyo update. The update may allow one of the forum dev's or some other source to allow easy connection to the market. It just that frustration to see 'sorry, no phone' response. ![]() |
