On a serious note, I have been on several forums/bb so far. But they were all technology /linux centered and haven't seen many women active. But MR is totally different place and super friendly, so there should be some instances.

Wouldn't surprise me. Contrary to scientific evidence, like poles can attract in matters of the heart. When I ran a big non-commercial site and forums for developing authors, at least two marriages resulted (still both happy unions after coming up ten years) between members literally continents apart.
