PB360 crash from search mode

Hi, I seem to have crashed my pocketbook fairly thoroughly. I searched in my book folder for a title, and then I deleted it from the search results. It then got into a loop of trying to go back to the search results but not being able to find them because the book no longer existed.

I attempted turning off and on again, but it returned automatically to the same page, in the same loop. The same thing happens when I try the reset button.

I also tried plugging it into my computer so I could put the book back on and hopefully break the loop, but I just get the "Bookshelf: Nothing found" message again, and don't get the dialog asking if I want a PC link or just a recharge, so I can't do anything.

Help?

(Am on a MacBook but can connect to Windows at work if I have to.)

Try disconnecting the battery and when disconnected press the power button for a few seconds before reconnecting again

Poking at the battery - I'm not terribly confident that if I pull it apart I can put it back together again. It's wired into a white bit that looks like it's plugged into a cream-coloured bit that's fixed in place. The white bit is loose enough I can pry it about 1mm out but is too stiff to go further easily. Is this what I should be pulling, or will that break something a bit too permanently?

Never mind, got it. Now have PC link... Transferring ebook back... And I'm out of the loop, all fixed. Thank you!
