I'm halfway through. Quite a story with a really compelling character. To think of what he went through. I woke up today feeling very grateful. My problems suddenly seem small.

I finished it recently. I found myself getting short tempered with the world. Probably a reaction to the senseless abuse they had to endure.

This book really was a wake-up call to me. I think of the Nazis as being such depraved beasts, but I was completely unaware of what was happening in the POW camps in the Pacific Theater. I found myself cringing at every page, yet unable to tear myself away from reading it.

It's a horrifying yet inspirational story.

I'm just over 1/2 done and I highly recommend Unbroken. It's so good. The writing is very strong and the story very emotional.

I'm about 100 pages from the end. Definitely a very good read.
