Duplicates when importing...
I have a single folder that contains a few hundred ebooks. None of the files are binary duplicates (just ran a tool that deleted all binary dupes). There are however, come books that have the same file name (but different extension, epub and mobi for example). I also have some like this:
Book Title - Author.epub Book Title - Author (1).epub In that case, those two files are different sizes. When I start w/ an empty library, and import the folder, and then run the duplicate file finder, I now see dozens and dozens of binary duplicate books within the library file structure as well as in calibre. I am perplexed as to why this would be. |

Are these binary duplicate book formats (like EPUB, etc) or are they metadata.opf files, or cover.jpg files? I see no reason why Calibre would create duplicates of the former type, but some of the the latter could be duplicates.
