PB603, french dictionary accents issue
Hi,
I got my pb603 this week and I was relieved that all the worrying posts I've witnessed these past months have seemingly not affected my own 603. Hopefully the new firmware and not just luck! However, the french english dictionary is finicky as the stylus selection for french words with accents (like é) doesn't select the whole word but either the accent alone or the section of letters on either side of it. And if you try to use the arrow keys to then move the bar to the start of the word it jumps down a few lines in the text...yet if you slowly move it back up to the start of the word it will recognise it, accent and all, and give you the full and correct translation. makes for slow lookup! Any ideas? Or is this a bug report issue?? Oh and it is an epub file! One of the french books which came with the device. Thanks! |
