VERY impressive....
Something always bugs me about those naked displays with wires sticking out. You have no way of figuring what electronic fire power is needed to make those things work. There could be a fridge hooked up to it for all I know! |

In these early prototypes, there may well be a fridge hooked up to it, like as not.

Hey, if it's already attached to a fridge, maybe you can use the display as fridge magnet papers.
But personally, I really hope to see something like this in my phone sometime. It's so frustrating to see all the potential that's always "just around the corner". On the other hand, one of these days we'll come around the corner and look out! |

I think that we tend to round some of those corners sometimes without noticing we have. Possibly a side effect of being fixed on the next corner.

I know a corner in Paris somewhere. It'll take me a while to get there though. Just the same as all those promises.

Ah, now I understand. Of course I was admiring your ability to lose me before you explained.

Yahoo's article on Sony's new display technology
The Yahoo article is here. Maybe we will see this in a reader soon. I want one I can carry like a pen in my shirt pocket and then open it to paperback book page size for reading.
