Error when opening Calibre 1.30

Getting the following error message when downloaded the new version of Calibre 1.30. I might add this is very unusual for me as I always update on Fridays and up to this point, never had any issues. Any thoughts on what might be causing this would be very helpful. I am running OSX version 10.8.4.

ERROR MESSAGE calibre, version 1.3.0

I had the same problem and fix it with this solution I found here:

"First backup the metadata.db file from your calibre library folder. Then open a command prompt, change to the calibre library folder and run

calibre-debug --reinitialize-db metadata.db"

Hope it helps

@chilady1, that error occurred with the initial release of Marvin XD, and is corrected with release 1.0.1 and later.
