Buy WTB: Nook or Kobo for tween

Since this is our first foray into ereaders, I'd rather not spend a LOT of money only to find out we'd rather have an Ipad ...

We're in Houston, and I'd like to give this to her on her upcoming birthday (in 3 weeks, eek).

If BN doesn't get their crap together and get me a UPS shipping label soon, I will have a nook with 3g and wifi to sell.

I am in Louisiana, so it should get to you pretty quick. It's a refurb nook I got off the sale a few weeks ago. Nothing wrong with it, I just dislike the idea I can't put my books in the order I want them in, instead of alphabetical or by author. Newest firmware update as well.

125 shipped sound good? (with insurance, obviously).
