Tiny DAs: Flipper, StatBar, RotateDA, ToggleFS

Thanks to our member and part-time software developer pruss for the following information about a release of his software. Clearly worthy of the front page. [BobR]

Here are four tiny free (Public Domain) Desk Accessories (DAs). The largest is less than 0.5k long! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Like all DAs, these require a DA Launcher. I recommend McPhling.

Flipper: This works on the Tungsten T3 and T5 to flip the display 180 degrees. Will probably crash most other devices.

StatBar: This works on Palm DIA devices such as the Tungsten T3 and T5 or the Tapwave Zodiac, as well as on Sony Clie devices (not tested on OS 4 devices), and toggles the display of the status bar.

ToggleFS: This temporarily toggles the FontSmoother utility on/off. ToggleFS only works in an application for which FontSmoother has been activated in the first place, and as soon as that application is exited, the default FontSmoother state is resumed. This could have some unexpected side-effects, crashes, etc., though my tester reports it is OK.

RotateDA: This does the same thing as the rotation icon on OS 5 devices like the T3, T5 or Tapwave that support rotation, but might be useful in contexts where you can launch a DA but the status bar is minimized. This should even work with mobile-stream's Landscape utility (untested) on Clies and would allow more flexibility in ways to rotate, but will crash devices that do not have Palm DIA style rotation support.
