Broken screen or corrupt image?
Hello,

Someone ask me to fix their e-reader. I think the screen is broken, but i don't see any damage. Or does it also looks like this when the internal SD card is corrupt?

The best way to fix it is to buy a new Kobo Libra 2. Replacing the screen is not all that easy to do. And given the cost of a new screen, it may not be cost effective.

Problematic with eink vs LCD as there is a calibration factor that's factory set. Often you end up with poor contrast. Also the eink screen cost is much higher than LCD for similar size.

Generally correct, except that certainly that should be Clara 2E for a Clara replacement? Maybe the owner prefers 6". Or no buttons. Or a symmetrical design. Or has a better use for the fifty extra bucks. Sigh. The Libra 2 is not the answer to all device selection issues; far from it.
