disturbed conversion epub to Kindle
I bought a Kindle ereader, because of the good reviews. Calibre supports the conversion from ePub to the Kindle format. In Holland we have only epub.

The original epub is 100% correct. But after the conversion to Kindle, there are on almost every page lots of errors

I know that I also can send the pub to Kindle email and the it should also be converted, but Kindle says that it can take up tot 60 days!!! So I have no experience with this route yet.
And with Calibre I can do it in minutes.

Is this failure known by Calibre users??

What are you sending? A dictionary or Bible?
Those are huge and cause conversion problems.

IMHO Kobo is a good choice for EPUB

Where have you seen that? Sending via email takes a few minutes at most for me.

There is also a newer, more reliable method using a web page:

You would have been better off with a Reader that handles ePub such as Kobo or Pocketbook.
