Error Message after editing the book in metadata
Hi Admin,
I am getting the following message whenever I edit a book in the metadata and save it. It saves under both edits. For example, If I edit the author name from "Lee Chilld" to "Lee Child". I have a folder of both the author names. I have to manually delete the wrong folder after this. Please help. Code:
calibre, version 5.36.0 ERROR: Permission denied: Could not change the on disk location of this book. Is it open in another program? Your library is in your Documents folder (C:\Users\chara\Documents\Calibre new') which by default is a Windows Controlled folder, that's been known to create access problems.
Try turning Controlled Folder Access off, it's in Windows Security->Ransomware Protection. If that's the problem, move your library out of Documents, which you can do that via the Library Switch/Create tool… I suggest somewhere like Code:
C:\Users\chara\Calibre\Calibre new BR |
