Glossary!

I have a Kobo Glo HD; I used to have a Kobo Aura.

I want to organise books (I use Calibre) but I am confused with the different terms. What is the difference between series, collection and shelves as defined by Kobo and/or Calibre?

Collections and shelves are the same.

Series can be used by calibre to create shelves. Apart from that they will just appear on the Kobo's library view and are nom sortable on the device.
