Anyone else having problems with Freading

I was curious if something is going on with Freading lately. I haven't been able to login through my library for the past few days. Just curious if this was problem with the site, my library (Free Library of Philadelphia), or if something is wonky with my account.

Anyone else having trouble?

I tried contacting FLP and Freading, but I haven't gotten a response.

I just tried to get to the digital media page and it puts me to a section called databases now. Maybe their website is messed up? This is the link I used to use http://search.freelibrary.org/digitalmedia.cfm

I'm having the same problem, also Free Library of Philadelphia. Glad to hear it's not just my account.

Free Library of Philadelphia - earlier today it said "access denied to freegal site"
now the message does not show up but it still won't let me in.

I use http://www.freading.com/libraries/chooser
https://freelibrary.freading.com/users/plogin
and tried http://search.freelibrary.org/digitalmedia.cfm (Purple Lady)

Obviously this appears to be a FLP issue.

I hope that is all it is. The Free Library of Philadelphia use to be connected with another site (I can't remember the name) that you could get music off of. I hope that they are still with Freading.

I would be devastated if FLP dropped Freading. I use it every week.

I sent an email about this problem and have just received this reply:

Well I don't know if this is any progress - but now when I go to log in connection takes a bit before kicking me out.

Looks like it's fixed! I was able to log in today.

Spoke too soon; I can log in but cannot download. All books show only "Add to wishlist".

What does Freading give you that you do not get using the FLP site directly?

Different books (Sourcebooks, OpenRoad....)

Freading has Open Road Media's entire catalogue, even new releases. I'm a sci fi and fantasy fan, and Open Road Media publishes a lot of great stuff in those genres. Unlike Overdrive, there are no waiting lists (instead you're limited to renting 3 books a week).

I am now able to sign in, but still cannot borrow any books.
