copy mobi file to Kindle fire from computer - what am I doing wrong
I copy a .mobi file to my Kindle fire Books and/or documents directory, but it still does not show up in my books list on the device???

@kennyc - love to help...some more info please... are you referring to a Fire or Fire HD and how are you copying the book (usb, wifi, Calibre, etc?)

Yeah, now that I realized that. I posted here in kinda too much haste. I googled and found that they are in 'docs' unless you modify the tag. Also using Calibre to transfer may have made a difference. Not sure. Thank you!
