Calendar problem

Hi all,
I have PE updated to Ermine. When I open the calendar app, I can use it, but when I try to "add event" (to create a recurring event for classes) it says "you have no Calendars." When I choose "calendars" I get a blank list with "ok" and "cancel". Pressing menu again does nothing. Has anyone else seen this?

Try this: (but your data will be lost, I think)
Open the Settings,
Applications,
Manage Applications,
select the All tab
touch Calendar and Clear Data
press the Back arrow
touch Calendar Storage and Clear Data.

Thanks, but no luck. I fear I accidentally wiped some part of it during some update.
