With the new update it seems “lookup” has replaced “define,” in the select text pop-up, I think. Problem for me is that lookup isn’t in the first suggestions shown and you have to hit the arrow to show it. Adds an extra step for what is my most used function of the text pop-up menu.

Hi gustophersmob, there are five options now, nothing is replaced, but new are added after requests from users. There can even be (fox example) 10 options, if there will be demand for it, but because of the screen in portrait, iOS automatically shorten the menu (you can check it in landscape, all options side by side).
I have no problem putting rearranging the positions, but then I suppose there will be someone else with the same problem for another options, that will be put to back. Maybe I can add an option to edit even this menu? Will this be OK? So you can say what you want to have at any position? Last edited by petrjahoda; 04-13-2026 at 02:51 AM. |

The edit option sounds good to me. I say that not knowing how much effort that is, but it certainly would solve the problem of different user preferences.

I have now version 2.2 in the progress and this is on the list now, with one caveat. As I use standard iOS context menu in here, the Copy is always at the first place, that is built in from Apple.

Hi, looks like it will be possible without Copy, so in next version it will be like this:
- 5 options - you can turn on/off an option - you can reorder the options (and have it like me... screenshot ... as those two things are the ones I use) |
