ads reappeared after adbreak

I successfully jailbroke by Kindle 10th generation using adbreak. After a day or 2, and following using the original Kindle email to deliver a book to my device, the ads returned. But the jb appeared to still work since I can still use KO Reader.

Thanks. I didn't understand that although I remember seeing something to that effect. What I first saw after the jb process was when I touched the view all ads link, I saw no ads. Then they reappeared after my device connected to the Internet. Then ads also reappeared on lock screen. Ran hot fix again and now no ads on lock screen. I hope I got the ota disabled so I don't have to face a firmware update.

Jailbreaking, OTA block, disable ads, etc. are all separate steps that you have to perform. AdBreak merely uses the ad system to exploit the Kindle security for the initial jailbreak step. Once done, there is no more reason to leave them enabled on the device page on your account.

I half jailbroke mine (missed to copy the right file in the .asset folder ) and as a result my kindle is not jailbroken, but i don't get any ads anymore (therefore i cannot re-run the adbreaker)

Maybe this is a new way to remove the ads who knows?

Doesn't https://kindlemodshelf.me/disableads.html remove ads on any jailbroken device?

And the reason for the ads reappearing is just Wi-Fi connection that enable the kindle to load ads, I think. (well that and the fact you should have enabled them for AdBreak to work)
