Just saw this on kobo instagram channel, it looks like they're introducing an official bluetooth remote that has 2 buttons (imagining for next page and previous page)

Hope that they modify the reader firmware so that both this and the 8BitDo are easy to connect and manage. My 8BitDo is great when it works, but it was hard to set up and hard to keep working.

Yeah, I think it's a very good move for mainstream users but there will definitely be some room for improvement. I think more buttons should've been in the default configuration. At least having more nagivational features such as bookmarking, and travelling between bookmarking, but prev/next page is the minimum you're looking for.

I'm particularly interested in "intelligent sleep/wake functionality". I like my bluetooth controller but every time I decide to use it, it's 5-10 clicks to get it up and running. If there's a way to turn it on and off intelligently hands off, that's a smart feature indeed.
