Common Metadata Finding Books
I have found that when using Calibre to find metadata for a book, it often
fails if the title has a colon (":") in it. For example, the book The Ups and Downs of Physics: The Science of Gravity, Aerodynamics, and Everyday Mishaps by Judith Weber & Marcus Weber will fail to find metadata. If I truncate the title to contain only the characters to the left of the colon The Ups and Downs of Physics it will succeed. Is it possible to include the exclusion of the colon, and character following it in the algorithm to find metadata if the metadata fails on the original title> |
