Do you know for sure that 10.0.14 is based on the alpha version version?

Annoying as it worked with books purchased a few days earlier than the one I'm having a problem with.
Is the behaviour any different if you use Add books, browse to the documents folder on your Kindle Touch and then click on the book there instead of going through Device and Add book to library?

You might also want to run calibre in debug mode, add a book, exit calibre and post the log file generated. This should expose any error message that are hidden in normal mode.

Tried both transfer methods, within Calibre using device and add books to library, and using win explorer in the Kindle eBook Documents folder.

I will have to try debug mode.

Jon, if you look at the 10.0.14 GitHub page, you will notice that it says: This branch is 14 commits ahead of noDRM/DeDRM_tools:master and there is no commit behind comment. If you look at NoDRM's github page, it states that "The latest alpha version is available at this link. This version is completely untested and will contain the latest code changes in this repository."

Any more questions?
