calibre pdf conversion faulty on one page

Hi - for years, I've sent my sigil book files to calibre where I convert it to pdf. Out-of-the-blue on an .xhtml page in sigil I've not touched, the calibre pdf displays only quarter of the page then page break. I checked in Calibre's epub page viewer and it displays perfectly there. So I'm guessing it's not a sigil problem even though I tried recreating the page one para at a time in sigil. There's about 25 files in sigil - that is, 25 page breaks - and calibre is doing it only to this one page. I'm running the latest vers calibre and sigil. Any idea how I can fix it since calibre doesn't have a way of targeting a single page in pdf conversion settings? I'm loathe to go back to previous vers of calibre because that means uninstalling and having to recreate my library all over again which always takes me forever when I switch computers!

Import your source to Word or LO Writer.

Properly style everything including different page styles, headers, footers etc.

Export/Save As PDF.

Calibre primarily converts ebook formats. You can produce PDFs from it, but that's limited. Sometimes "Printing" a PDF from the viewer works. That works as well as "printing" a web page to a "PDF printer". PDFs are WYSIWYG previews of paper print, or files to do paper printing, inc professional publishing, That's why trying to convert from PDF to anything is even worse. They are not ebooks.
