Would it be possible to add # of pages read per month to the statistics alongside # of books? Some months I read a few longer novels, others a few dozen oneshots. Would like to see comparison month-to-month.

I don't think there is enough space to display the page count, except in a tooltip. Also, the necessary info is not directly acessible in the database, altough it can be gathered traversing every record (which could be slow).

I'll check it when I have the time.

Hello,

I'm getting the error in the picture from a book I'm trying to add to stats.I've added the book to my library today but reading date is from 2013 (it has happened the same yesterday with another book in the same situation). Where can I clean data?

Solved. I don't know how but the option for adding books from previous years was unchecked. As I haven't touched options in a lot, I think it was modified at some upgrade.

I haven't changed this option in a long time, but who knows. At least it was that simple.

Are you trying to auto add books to a challenge (via Customize > Auto add)?
If so, you must use a python dictionary like this:

{"challenge_name_1": {"#custom_column" : "column_value"}, "challenge_name_2": {"tags": "some_tag"}}

Post your dictionary here so we can see what is wrong.

P.S.: Just noticed that the tooltip was missing the last '}'. Maybe this is what caused the error for you.

- Bug fix for the Auto Add feature: it was supposed to rescan the entire library when changing the auto add configuration, but it was broken

Hey, thank you so much for the plugin!

With the latest version, 1.9.8, auto add does not work for me anymore.
Add to goal: is set to a float column with the field for the value being empty. But even after a calibre restart, any changes to the column does not add the book to the goal list.

Sorry, I cannot edit my last post.
It seems the config value "auto_add_check" is never set to True, and thus the "check_audo_add" does not run.
If I close calibre, manually change the "auto_add_check" to true, start calibre, then the book is added.

I assume "auto_add_check" also has to be set to true once metadata is changed inside the "metadata_changed_event"
