I've installed it. Noticed those new settings aren't added automatically, so manually added them to the json file. It needed a couple of Calibre restarts until they worked, but seems to be working fine now.
Wondering if it is worth adding the plugin version to the extra info at the top of the report... v0.2.6

hello all... when I convert epubs for my Kobo Clara BW and load them I'm getting a space between contractions. hope I'm saying it right. sick and exhausted here

before I go farther with java install, is there a way to do a find and replace to remove the space between other than this plugin? thanks!

here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. when I look at the ebook in the calibre editor everything looks perfec but on my Kobo Clara BW

I don't understand why there's a difference or how to fix it. I removed the book from the reader and reconverted it but the issues remain

any ideas? thanks all

Are you sending them as epubs or kepubs? If kepubs, you may want to copy the filename.kepub.epub version back to your computer and open it with an ePub editor to see if you can see any oddities around possessives with the kobo spans.

You may also want to open Preferences => Output Options => Kepub output and see if you have Prefer improved text justification to proper highlighting checked. If not, check it and resend the book to your Clara BW.

Also, being a bit pedantic, this has absolutely nothing to do with the epubcheck plugin. Perhaps the Devices forum would have been a better choice.

FYI: If you want to force the update simply backdate the year value in EpubCheck.json:

Is there a different file for the epubcheck plugin for Sigil. I downloaded the epubcheck.zip from this thread, but Sigil reports that it is not a valid plugin file?
Don't recall what I did when setting up the previous computer. This is a re-installation on a new computer and yes, Jav is installed
