actually he's not. my sister is the Queen of an Egyptian River. I've been trying to get this dialogue regarding getting them out of their 3 story mountain house in New Mexico going for about 3 years now and she has been avoiding it. our family friend who happens to be a social worker and a hospice worker is going to give her a healthy cup of reality check today.

I hate drunks with fireworks.

I always get burned.
I got burned pretty badly by a firework one New Years in Germany. I was fairly drunk, but someone even drunker handed me a lit flare. by the time I realized what I was holding the sparks had embeded into my thumbnail and burned about half the skin on the outside of my thumb. took about a year and a half to recover from that.

I have been hearing a new owl on my property for the last month or so. yesterday I got a really good look at TWO of them. I'm trying to identify them by sound right now. Arwen wants to take apart the laptop and get the noisy thing inside!
