The doctor thinks it might just be stress... I'm not convinced, but he pointed out that a week of rest would probably help, regardless... and he had a point. So I'll rest, as much as I'm able, and eat well and try to look after myself, and see if that actually helps. My boss is unimpressed, but wisely said nothing that would have required grumpiness on my part. It's a bad time to be taking leave, but... well, that's part of the issue, isn't it? Stress + stress + tight deadlines + lots of work = half-dead Nomie.

you have to take care of the caretaker to ensure a safe and healthy family. get you together, spoil yourself, long hot baths, quiet reads with a cuppa or a glass of wine, comfort food, and so on.
