Thanks for responding. One of the reasons I raised the query is that I liked the LRF header/footer. Because it had become obvious that LRF had no real future in Calibre, I forced myself to only use EPUB because I don't want to be fruitlessly moaning that my converted LRFs "aren't quite right". Now I am very happy with the combination of EPUB/PRS+ and can do all the formatting I've ever wanted (except right justification).
I recently bought a second ereader (PocketBook 360) because I wanted to try a more portable 5" model with bells and whistles. I have been amazed at how much customising an amateur, like me, can do. Status bar is just one small example (although displayed info varies depending which viewer you use, ADE or fbreader).

Just for info I have attached 2 screenshots showing the same EPUB in ADE on the 2 different readers. I have deliberately picked a book with a too-long title. Do you think the status bar on the 5" reader is too "busy"? An even smaller font could be used if that was better.
I don't want to push this too hard if you don't fancy it. I just thought it might be nice. By the way, I still love my PRS505 so keep up the excellent development work.
