TBH we are truly spoilt here in Australia - so far I have not found a wine I didn't like. I am trying to drink my way through the shelves to taste as many as I can. And when we go for a drive we usually buy from the vinyards direct - often wines you can't even buy.

I try and stay away from the great companies as the grapes come from all over the place. Although it does make for good drinking wines at a reasonable price.

As I have nearly stopped drinking I can allow myself the indulgence to spend a bit more on wine. A glass / day is usually all for me. Kinda overindulged once a few years back and am still recovering.

Right. I have always limited myself to 1 drink/day since I started drinking (although I did get drunk once under controlled conditions, so I knew what it was like. I didn't like it.) Having a glass with my evening meal is a mark of elegance to me....
