I'm reading a very engaging novel right now. It's "Shantaram," by Gregory David Roberts.

I'm only read about 20%, but I find the writing very literary, with the characters wonderfully drawn and quite memorable.

So far, this is a superior piece of fiction.

I've wanted to read this ever since I left the U.S. and didn't want to carry this massive tome with me to Peru. Then, when I was able to buy a Kindle, I saw that the novel was available.

Highly recommended, so far. In fact, a beautiful book, so far.
