But that won't drain much battery either.
I added over a thousand of books and it took hours to process all of them (between 1 and 2, I think). But the battery meter didn't drop almost at all.
The bad thing is that it keeps processing them everytime you plug/unplug it and even if you don't add or change anything. That's rather annoying.
What's the point of having over 1Gb worth of books if it keeps re-indexing them all the time you unplug the cable?
