speaking to the skiing events which I have some knowledge of... men are uniformly heavier and taller. these two aspects change the dynamics of a ski race ENORMOUSLY! the heavier body powers down the mountain MUCH more quickly than a lighter, smaller body.

there honestly are not very many events that men and women can compete on even ground in... any of the shooting events, but not the ones including cross country skiing, because, once again, the powerful body. other than shooting, the one event that is combined and can be competed at an equal level is the equestrian events
