Just a tidbit that i've heard over radio this week.

Figure skating in the early 1900 was mainly a men's sport. At one Olympic they allowed a woman to compete. She was so good that she won second place. That was a hit in the ....s, it could not be allowed to happen anymore. From then on, all disciplines would be segregated.

Will there be a day when competition is mixed again?
