The doctor tells me I'm doing very well considering the complexity of what should have been a routine surgery. I should start feeling more like myself in the next few days (although I am still limited on the amount of housework I'm allowed to do ~ hallelujah  ). I do intend to milk the sympathy factor a little longer but am starting to go a little "stir crazy" (recovery from surgery and 3 feet of snow will do that to a person) so won't be able to hold out too long.
Thanks again for all your kind words and thoughts. It really does make a difference and I feel so blessed to have you all on my side.
