Hi, everyone!
I just got back from the doctor's where I was lucky enough to see pictures from my surgery. Yuk! There are somethings a person should never have to see and the inside of your own body is one of them.
She asked me if I wanted a copy of the pictures and I did consider it to use as guilt makers for the kids considering all the problems the surgical team had was directly related to their births, but I decided that was going a bit over the top even for me.
The doctor tells me I'm doing very well considering the complexity of what should have been a routine surgery. I should start feeling more like myself in the next few days (although I am still limited on the amount of housework I'm allowed to do ~ hallelujah
). I do intend to milk the sympathy factor a little longer but am starting to go a little "stir crazy" (recovery from surgery and 3 feet of snow will do that to a person) so won't be able to hold out too long.
Thanks again for all your kind words and thoughts. It really does make a difference and I feel so blessed to have you all on my side.
