Sounds like my Oldies - Dad didn't want one either but needs help walking after his operation as his blood pressure is still on a roller coaster ride so at least he can hang on to something.

My Grandma (90 this year) doesn't want one either because then the neighbours would think she is old

But the Oldies I did see on those rollators put drivers with road rage to shame.
