Thanks for sharing that. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I had considered using NewspaperDirect, but took the RSS / Calibre route instead.

I think the NewspaperDirect interface would work better on a PC rather than a hand-held device - mainly because it's designed for mouse techniques, popup windows and the like (for example, you can hover the mouse over a headline to pop up a synopsis of the article).

Re your point about difficult naviagtion with Calibre / feeds, I simply use the "next page" button to navigate through the stories. This is using the Mobi Pocket reader on a notebook computer. I guess with the slower page turns of a Kindle it would be a lot less convenient, but in general I find that using Calibre to convert the feeds, and then reading it in Mobi, is a good combination.
