I am not an Oprah fan (I don't DISlike her, I'm just not a fan), but some of her books club picks have been fantastic. My favourites are "Middlesex" (Eugenides), which is one my favourite books in general, and "I Know This Much is True" (Wally Lamb). I am thinking about picking up the "Edgar Sawtelle" book.
