Dear All:
The scroll wheel presently does only one thing... serve as a third way to advance or degress pages.
I see it as a VERY great tool if it had applications (apps). I have already gotten the factory to improve it by adding volume control to the scroll wheel and that firmware upgrade is coming very soon (I hope within a week).
However, I can also see where the scroll wheel can be used for other things like once the factory installs dictionary support.
Maybe we should have a contest for good ideas on possible uses that could be designed into the scroll wheel.
I see that wheel sitting there just begging to be fully utilized. It could be a feature neither Sony or Kindle has. I would like to make that scroll wheel into the greatest thing since the user-replaceable rechargeable battery.
Ideas? Suggestions?
