You work in the IT area, right? Couldn't you just introduce some regular expression substitution scripts into the mail server in advance of the announcement?

Anyway, I thought a dress policy only applied if you wore dresses.... Or is the policy expecting everyone, in a slightly ill-thought out attempt at gender equality, to come in wearing dresses? Does your company work with Grayson Perry?
