Why ?? In the business markt sale prices and support costs are ussually much higher for a good reason : service Levels and the quality of the devices that professionals need excel those from the consumer market.
Can we conclude that the DR1000s is a professional device?
It may have been marketed that way but it by no means even gets close to such a thing.
A few months back I heard someone say : "You're paying the price for being a pioneer"... now it's "you're paying the price for being a professional".
Seriously, Shaggy, no matter what kind of spin we're gonna put on this device and it's price : it sucks, for consumer use as well as for professional use.
