The information about not being legal in Quebec because it wasn't French is wrong. The laws in Quebec stipulate that
IF a product is available in French then the stores can't sell the English version only.
The reader or the packaging didn't have to be available in French, Sony only needed to include french instructions, apparently they didn't want to bother having them translated and have French speaking people calling for support. I'm glad that changed.
I've been shopping a lot the last few days. Sony's old and new models are available in most electronic stores like Future Shop, Best Buy and Bureau en Gros.
Archambault has the new Sony's and the Cybook Gen 3.
