LOL wow. 16 pages in 13 hours. So, other than the fact that the NYPL is huge, why is this news for anyone except those eligible for a NYPL card? What exactly does this do for those of us in rural locations, without a huge library that has ebooks for offer? The device is VERY nice, I agree, and I'd love to see one in person. If NYPL (or Overdrive) was offering nationwide access for free, now THAT would be news!
Now for another question. Is the Sony Library software only available if you have a Sony reader device? I went to the download page and it doesn't seem to be the case, but I couldn't tell definitively.
