That makes perfect sense (no, seriously, it does - I'm aware of there being a noise just beyond my hearing range. And fans at certain speeds drive me nuts - it's like I can just hear a radio station at the edge of hearing - not enough to actually hear specific words and music, but the fact there is words and music. Annoyingly, given I work in IT, the massed server fans in the comms room are the worst!)
