Yeah, the videos were a bit daft, but I think their hearts are in the right place with regard to the business they're trying to support. They're certainly not causing any huge exodus away from the likes of Amazon in any event.
I was a bit amused by the premise of the one where the book guy was suave and the Kindler fell flat. It wasn't quite was I was thinking, but it was related. Had I made the video...the book could have started a conversation about the book, but the Kindle would only start a conversation about the Kindle. That's a phenomenon I have encountered a few times.
